Coordinating cultural, social, educational, sports, and such other activities involving Kodava Families living in North America.

ONENESS

Encouraging, promoting, and developing better understanding, feeling of oneness and fellowship among all the Kodavas.

CENTRAL RESOURCE

Serving as a central resource for all social, cultural, and humanitarian issues related to the Kodava community in North America.

FOUNDATIONS

Establishing institutions, foundations or trusts as may be appropriate for the welfare and progress of the Kodava community.

CONVENTIONS

Promoting and ensuring Kodava conventions are held each year in North America.

HARMONY

Promoting religious harmony among all communities.

DEVELOPMENT

Promoting development and support for Kodava entrepreneurs through mentor-ship and networking opportunities.

SUPPORT

Providing support and assistance addressing issues and challenges faced by women, youth and senior citizens, in the context of cultural, literary, educational, socioeconomic, health and community affairs.

The funds received in the form of annual membership, gifts, donations from members will be used and not limited to the following:

As a non-profit organization, we have several initiatives for those who become members:  some of them are listed below

  • Help Kodava families who are facing economic hardship in North America to get back on their feet.
  • Provide assistance to Kodavas visiting or living in North America who are not able to afford the expenses for expensive specialized life-saving medical treatments and procedures.
  • In cases of death of a loved one, help the family with performing the last rites in accordance with the Kodava customs and tradition.
  • Provide assistance with making any special arrangements for assisted living for older Kodavas living in North America who are not able to afford such care.
  • To protect, promote and preserve the heritage, customs and culture of the Kodavas living in North America.
  • Sponsor/help Kodava children in Kodagu who are unable to afford an education Help students in need of visa/references/accommodation and other non-tuition assistance.
  • Help Kodava victims cope with an incidence of domestic violence, assault, child-support default, mental health issues and any such devastating situations and conditions.
